Cryo-Facial Treatment Terms and Conditions with 201Frost

1. Introduction

This document outlines the terms and conditions for undergoing Cryo-Facial treatments with 201Frost. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms set forth herein.

2. Treatment Description

Cryo-Facial with 201Frost involves the application of a dry vapour of carbon dioxide (CO2) or a cooled applicator directly onto the skin. This process stimulates thermal shock in the desired area, resulting in the exposure of the treatment area to 30-60-second streams of vapour or cold compress using a freeze-thaw technique.

3. Recommended Treatments

Your practitioner will prescribe the number of sessions required for effective results. It is recommended that skin tightening treatments be carried out 2 weeks apart, pain management treatments be carried out every 5-7 days, and every fat freezing session be carried out every 6-7 days for optimal outcomes. Additional top-up treatments may be necessary for long-term effective management.

4. Duration

The initial appointment for the Cryo treatment will last approximately 30 minutes.

5. What to Expect

During the treatment, only the affected area will be exposed. The sensation will be chilly and may be slightly uncomfortable, but it is generally not extreme. There is no downtime or recovery time needed post-treatment.

6. Side Effects and Risks

Potential side effects include pink skin, similar to the sensation after exposure to cold weather, and frost nip. Frost nip generally does not lead to permanent damage, but ulcers may form, and there's potential for long-term sensitivity to temperature changes. There's also a possibility that the treatment may not yield the desired results.

Clinical photographs are crucial for the education and our portfolio of cryotherapy professionals. Different consent levels are available based on how these images will be used. Clients have the right to choose their consent level, and this choice will not affect the treatment in any way.

10. Contraindications

Certain conditions and circumstances may make Cryo-Facial treatments unsuitable. These include, but are not limited to, Cryoglobulnemia, cold hemaggulation, cold hemolysis, cold-induced itching, and various other conditions listed in the waiver. It's essential to consult with your physician if you have any concerns.
